It was pleasing to see that the faecal coliform count in Park Street, Bowraville has dropped considerably. I believe this could be attributable to the current ‘lack of presence’ of the flying fox colony. Our October count puts it within an acceptable range for swimming… not for drinking. The count at Lanes Bridge aka ‘the Junction’ was too numerous to count, (I will not be swimming there). We will retest in early November.
